It has been a tradition in our family to produce only the highest quality fruits and vegetables in season. To carry on this custom, our mission is to ensure that the people of Chicago, and members of our own local community are provided with the freshest produce to promote good health and well being. It is also our goal to protect and respect the environment. By means of sustainable farming methods, our family has been able to utilize the land in a safe and productive way. It is our hope that customers put trust in our farm so we are able to continue to benefit lives through the weekly delivery of fresh produce to the City of Chicago.

1. Do a better job of communicating with farm workers during harvests.

2. Keep better track/records of income and expenses.

Family owned and operated-you work for what you get. The harder you work, the more you achieve. Quality above quantity.

What is your favorite childhood food memory?

Hog Roasts

 

What you wish would change about food access or food systems in general in the world.

I would change the over-regulation of food grown in the United States and limit/eliminate the importation of food (often unregulated) into the United States.
