Climate Change—Demanding Action

Wed, Jul 18, 2012. 6:30pm - 8:30pm

Please join us at the Experimental Station on Wednesday, July 18 from 6:30-8:30pm for Climate Change—Demanding Action, a presentation and discussion by energy scientist Rick Knight on the causes of climate change, its consequences, and what we can—and must—do about it. Local climate activist Jay Mulberry describes Knight as "by far the best presenter on the subject I have ever come across." Everyone, from experts to novices, activists to agnostics, will gain insight into our climatic quandary and potential for collective action.

Climate Change—Demanding Action is free and open to the public. The Experimental Station is located at 6100 South Blackstone Avenue. Entry will be on Blackstone. Parking is available on the street, as well as in the University of Chicago parking lot to the north. The Experimental Station is accessible for persons with handicaps.
