Natural Lawn Care Workshop by Midwest Grows Green

Workshop covering best natural lawn care practices, policies and strategies.

Turfgrass management practitioners and experts share the practices, equipment, products and approaches to eliminate synthetic pesticide and fertilizer applications on sports and recreational fields. Each speaker will share success stories of implementing soil health and natural lawn care principles on highly trafficked turfgrass fields. This session will include a demonstration of soil and site assessment techniques from Midwest Grows Green (MGG) Technical Assistance Program team members of Ryan Anderson and Vytas Pabedinskas at the pesticide-free Ray Elementary schoolyard.

Who Should Attend: Managers of turfgrass including those from park and school districts, municipalities, policymakers, non-profits and corporate campuses.  

Speakers Include: MGG's Ryan Anderson, Save Our Soil LLC’s Vytas Pabedinskas, Natural Grass Advisory Group’s Ben Grimm and North Shore Country Club’s Dan Dinelli.
