How To Make a Charitable Donation of Stock or Securities

Your broker may electronically transfer the gift directly to our account at Vanguard. Please follow these simple steps to facilitate your gift of securities to Experimental Station:

1. Please fill out the Experimental Station Securities Gift Form, found below these instructions.

2. Before you initiate your transfer, please contact Connie Spreen, Executive Director, at 773 241-6044 or gifts@experimentalstation.org. It is important that you (or your broker) alert Experimental Station via phone or email that the gift is being transferred to our account, as the stock will arrive without identification. 

3. Our Vanguard account information is as follows:

The tax ID number for Experimental Station is 32-0017985.

Once your gift is processed, a tax receipt will be sent to you stating the name of the security, the number of shares, and the date it was received by Experimental Station. Your tax advisor will determine the value of the gift.
