Tatsu Aoki presents Basser Live III, a solo bass concert at Experimental Station
Chicago's Jazz and creative improvisor Tatsu Aoki is mostly known as a long-standing bassist for Fred Anderson and he has also worked with George Freeman and Von Freeman, as well as recording projects with Malachi Favors, Roscoe Mitchell, Don Moye, Wu Man and Yoko Ono (Skylanding). 20 years have passed since the Basser Live II performance at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago. Asian Improv aRts Midwest is proud to present Tatsu Aoki in his Basser Live III performance at the Experimental Station, joined by his daughter, Kioto Aoki.
